Adam Copeland sustained a broken tibia during AEW Double or Nothing

Adam Copeland sustained a fractured tibia during a Barbed Wire Steel Cage Match against Malakai Black at AEW Double or Nothing.

“My brain forgets what my body always seems to remember, a little late, is that I’m 50 and I need to make better choices,” Adam said. “So, my body pulled the emergency break on me the other night and I ended up fracturing my tibia, which is going to require surgery, don’t know the time frame on that yet.”

Adam announced on social media that he needs surgery due to the injury he got while diving from the top of the cage onto Black. Despite the injury, Copeland finished the match and retained his TNT Championship. The recovery from surgery could take 3 to 6 months, causing him to miss major events like ALL IN: London.
