AEW Dynamite Hits Lowest Wednesday Viewership in History

AEW Dynamite this week experienced a significant drop in viewership, recording the lowest numbers in its history for a Wednesday episode.

The June 20 episode averaged 502,000 viewers and 213,000 in the 18-49 demographic, marking decreases of 26% and 28%, respectively. The show ranked third among cable originals and faced no major competition like the previous week’s NBA game.

Notably, male viewership in the 18-49 demo fell by 30%, while the female audience dropped by 17%. Compared to the same week last year, overall viewership declined by 44%, with a 51% drop in the key demo. Despite featuring notable matches and the Owen Hart Foundation Cup tournament, Dynamite’s ratings were significantly outperformed by NXT, which averaged 724,000 viewers.
