AEW Dynamite Sees Viewership Increase Following Last Week’s Record Low Demo

AEW Dynamite experienced a boost in viewership following a historic low in the 18-49 demographic the previous week. The June 26 episode from Buffalo averaged 680,000 viewers with 288,000 (0.22) in the 18-49 demographic. Despite this improvement, these figures still mark the third-lowest overall audience and the second-lowest in the key demo for Dynamite this year.

Competition for the night included the NBA Draft, though exact viewership numbers for the event are unavailable. This week, Dynamite benefited from having “The Big Bang Theory” as its lead-in, compared to the previous week’s lead-in of the Marvel film “Black Panther” on TBS.

The previous week’s episode hit a low of 502,000 viewers and a 0.16 rating in the demo, the lowest in Dynamite’s history for its usual time slot. The male 18-49 demographic grew by 37% to 175,000 viewers, while the female demographic increased by 33% to 113,000 viewers. The 18-34 demographic saw a modest 5% increase, averaging 85,000 viewers.
