AEW is no longer accessible on TelevisaUnivision’s ViX platform

Less than a year into its multi-year streaming agreement with TelevisaUnivision, AEW programming is no longer available on the ViX platform, marking another international broadcast deal that has quietly ended. Although neither AEW nor TelevisaUnivision have officially commented, a support page updated on March 13th disclosed the discontinuation.

Initially announced in July 2023, the deal aimed to deliver AEW’s TV shows and content to ViX’s premium tier across Mexico, parts of Latin America, and the Caribbean. Despite an estimated annual value of $150,000 by Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston, details of the agreement were never publicly confirmed.

This is not AEW’s only international deal to dissolve recently. Fans on Reddit noted AEW’s absence on DAZN starting this year, despite a January 2023 agreement for 42 markets estimated at $250,000 annually. Meanwhile, AEW maintains other international agreements, like its deal with ESPN in Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands. For international viewers, AEW now recommends the AEW Plus on Triller/FITE, with TBS, TNT, and TSN as listed broadcast partners.
