WWE….. AEW Dynamite returned to its normal Wednesday time slot and it helped the company rebound its TV ratings.
Viewership for Dynamite was the best since May 12. The show brought in an hourly average of 883,000 viewers, with a 0.35 rating in the key 18 to 49 year old demographic.
Among 18-49 males, it drew a 0.45, a little below the 0.48 average the prior six weeks on Wednesday nights. Year-over-year, Dynamite was up 18.1 percent in overall viewership and up 20.7 percent in the 18-49 demo.
The episode featured MJF vs. Sammy Guevara in the main event, AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks vs. Eddie Kingston & Penta El Zero Miedo in a non-title match, and TNT Champion Miro defending the title against Brian Pillman Jr.
AEW’s rating is even more impressive given that they were up against competition from the NBA playoffs.
