Vince McMahon appeared on Pat McAfee’s podcast on Thursday and offered up a match at WrestleMania 38 to the current Friday Night SmackDown color commentator.
He didn’t mention an opponent but McAfee jumped at the chance. Just one night later on Smackdown, Theory announced himself as McAfee’s opponent at WrestleMania before slapping McAfee and walking away.
WrestleMania 38 will originate from inside the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas for a raucous two-night extravaganza on Saturday, April 2, and Sunday, April 3, 2022. It will mark Dallas’ second time hosting the “Greatest Spectacle in Sports Entertainment.”
