Bianca Belair made her WWE return on Friday’s episode of SmackDown, ending a two-month absence from the ring.
Bianca’s return took place during the final segment of the show, immediately following the intense Women’s Championship match between IYO SKY and Charlotte Flair. In that contest, SKY emerged victorious with some help from her Damage CTRL allies, Bayley and Dakota Kai, who interfered in the match. Damage CTRL then continued their assault on Flair after the match. That’s when Belair came charging to the ring for the rescue, helping Flair to close out the show.
Belair’s previous appearance had been on the August 18 SmackDown, during which she suffered a storyline injury that served as the rationale for her time away from the ring, which she later explained as a much-needed break for self-care.
