Big E and MVP Undergo Stem Cell Therapy in Mexico

WWE stars Big E and MVP have traveled to Mexico to undergo stem cell therapy at a Rejuvstem clinic. This move comes as part of their efforts to address various health concerns and potentially prolong their in-ring careers.

Big E, who has been out of action since March 2022 due to a neck injury, is hoping that the stem cell treatment will help him return to the ring. He suffered a major neck injury on the March 11, 2022, episode of WWE SmackDown when he took an overhead belly-to-belly suplex at ringside from Ridge Holland. The injury resulted in fractures of his C1 and C6 vertebrae.

MVP, on the other hand, has not wrestled since July 2022. He has been teasing a potential return to the ring, stating that he hopes the treatment will allow him to have one last in-ring run. Both wrestlers have been active in the wrestling world, with MVP working alongside Bobby Lashley during his WWE Title reign during the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to the formation of The Hurt Business with Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin.

The decision to undergo stem cell therapy in Mexico is part of a growing trend among wrestlers seeking to address the wear and tear on their bodies from years of performing in the ring. The Rejuvstem clinic, where Big E and MVP are receiving treatment, has been operating since 2007 and recently opened a new location in Cancun. The clinic promotes itself as a “Pioneer in providing the highest quality stem cells to tens of thousands of patients through advanced quality control and technology.”

Stem cell therapy involves the use of stem cells, which are capable of differentiating into various cell types, to treat or prevent diseases and medical conditions. The treatment has been shown to have potential in addressing a wide range of health issues, including those related to injuries and chronic conditions.
