Big E beats Drew McIntyre at WWE Crown Jewel

Big E put his WWE Championship on the line against Drew McIntyre at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.

Big E starts the match by telling McIntyre that he has not faced anyone like him. Various tests of strength followed, with both men failing to knock the other down with shoulder blocks before McIntyre got the early advantage.

Drew hits some chops. Big E fights back with big right hands. McIntyre then took down Big E with a side Russian leg sweep and hits a spinebuster to get a two-count. Big E comes back with belly-to-belly suplexes. He goes for the boom drop but McIntyre cuts him off with belly-to-belly suplex.

McIntyre scored his own near fall with a Future Shock DDT. After McIntyre countered his way out of a stretch muffler submission, Big E hit the Big Ending but only scored a two-count. McIntyre also had his big move not get the finish when Big E kicked out of a Claymore. A second Big Ending was enough to get it done for Big E and win the match.
