Bray Wyatt Has Passed Away at 36 Years Old

Bray Wyatt, a former WWE Champion whose real name was Windham Rotunda, has sadly passed away at the age of 36. No cause of death has been announced.

Triple H, the WWE Chief Content Officer, released a statement to confirm the news.

“We were informed of the heartbreaking news by WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda that our lifelong WWE family member, Windham Rotunda, also known as Bray Wyatt, has passed away unexpectedly today,” Triple H expressed. “During this difficult time, our hearts go out to his family, and we kindly request that their privacy be respected.”

Bray Wyatt made his WWE debut in 2010 as part of The Nexus stable, but it was his transformation into the Bray Wyatt character that brought him widespread recognition. He was known for his exceptional mic skills, unique persona, and the ability to create compelling storylines and feuds.

One of his most notable personas was “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt, which he introduced in 2019. The Fiend was a dark and twisted character characterized by his eerie mask and chilling in-ring presence.

Throughout his career, Bray Wyatt has won several championships, including the WWE Championship, the Universal Championship, and the SmackDown Tag Team Championship.

Since February, Wyatt had been absent from the ring as a result of an undisclosed illness that posed both career and life-threatening risks. Wyatt’s last televised match took place at WWE Royal Rumble when he defeated LA Knight in a Mountain Dew Pitch Black Match.
