Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar find themselves on a collision course once again, following a series of split victories at WWE Backlash and Night of Champions. Lesnar made a surprise return to WWE Raw this Monday, reigniting a long-standing feud with Rhodes that began after WrestleMania 39 in April.
Ever since falling short to the undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, Rhodes has been yearning for a shot at the world championship. Despite appearing ready to answer the challenge from world heavyweight champion Seth Rollins, known as “The American Nightmare,” Rhodes found his plans thwarted once again by Lesnar’s interference. Lesnar’s actions paved the way for Judgment Day to continue their ongoing rivalry with Rollins.
