WWE Champion Brock Lesnar learned on RAW, courtesy of Paul Heyman, that he will be defending his title when the WWE returns to Madison Square Garden next Saturday, March 5.
Heyman said that Bobby Lashley will be Lesnar’s opponent, but if Lashley still fails to pass concussion protocol, Heyman will make sure Lesnar’s opponent is worthy of the World’s Most Famous Arena.
Lashley suffered a kayfabe concussion at Elimination Chamber, but in reality, he’ll reportedly be out four months with a shoulder injury.
Brock is scheduled to face Universal champion Roman Reigns in a Winner Takes All match at WrestleMania 38 from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Sunday, April 3.
