Bron Breakker defeated Grayson Waller to retain his title at NXT Vengeance Day 2023.
Towards the end of the match Waller has Breakker tied up in the ropes and starts punching away before hitting him with a drop kick to the mid section and a spear. Waller tries to run up the cage as Breakker powers his way out of the ropes and knocks Waller down.
Breakker picks up Waller and press slams him into the cage, but Waller is able to stop Breakker with a low blow. Waller then heads all the way to the top of the cage, but Breakker runs up there to meet him and hits him with a superplex off the top.
Breakker follows with a spear, with Waller down, Breakker gets in face about his trash talking. Breakker says this is his dog pound and he runs NXT before running the ropes and hitting Waller with another spear for the pin. Post-match, Carmelo Hayes came out and looked down Breakker from the ramp as the show ends.
