The Elimination Chamber match was created by Triple H, and introduced by Eric Bischoff in November 2002. It is a elimination-based match that features a large chain-linked circular steel structure which encloses the ring.
Within the structure are four inner enclosures outside each ring corner where a superstar waits for his/her turn to enter the match. Two participants begin the match in the ring as the remaining four are held within each inner enclosure and are released into the match at five-minute intervals. The objective is to eliminate each opponent from the match. The winner of the match is the last remaining participant.
Over the years the Elimination Chamber match has featured some of WWE’s most brutal and wild matches. Let’s check out some of these with a comprehensive photo history of the Elimination Chamber Match over the years.
