CM Punk debuts on AEW Rampage

CM Punk has officially arrived in All Elite Wrestling on Friday night during AEW Rampage.

CM Punk kicked off Rampage from Chicago opening the show with his trademark “Cult of Personality” entrance. He comes out and gets down on his knees, taking in the adulation from the crowd. As he comes down the ramp Punk jumps into the first row and hugs some fans.

In the ring, Punk was very emotional as he thanked the Chicago fans. Punk talks about his love for professional wrestling. He says that he left pro-wrestling on August 13, 2005, and returned on August 20, 2021.

Punk says he is back because of all the young talent in the locker room that he wishes was around 10 years ago. He is back to settle a couple of scores. He names Darby Allin. Allin and Sting appears standing on top of the United Center.

Punk said he wants to help Allin because there’s nothing more dangerous than wrestling CM Punk. He then announces he will see Allin and Sting on September 5th at AEW All Out live on pay-per-view.
