CM Punk Thwarts Drew McIntyre, Damian Priest Retains World Title at Money in the Bank

At the WWE Money in the Bank 2024 Premium Live Event, held at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest faced off against Seth Rollins in a high-stakes showdown. The stipulation was clear: if Priest retained his title, Rollins would never be able to challenge for it again while Priest remained champion. Conversely, if Rollins won, Priest would be forced to leave The Judgment Day.

The match took an unexpected turn when Drew McIntyre rushed in late, cashing in his Money in the Bank contract to convert the bout into a triple threat. However, McIntyre’s bid for glory was abruptly halted by CM Punk, who dragged McIntyre out of the ring and unleashed a vicious assault with a steel chair. Punk then struck McIntyre in the face with the world title belt, paving the way for Priest to execute his finishing move, South of Heaven, and secure the victory.
