A special Seth Rollins appreciation segment was in store for this week’s episode of WWE Raw that went down from the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Seth spoke about how last week was a celebration of 20 years of Randy Orton. Rollins said that instead the WWE should celebrate a trendsetter, a fashion icon, a global sex symbol, a visionary and a revolutionary while noting that tonight was Seth Freakin’ Rollins Appreciation Night.
Rhodes would eventually come out to interrupt Seth which led to a heated exchange between the two rivals. Rollins mentioned how Cody’s father WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes was an egomaniac. Rollins told Rhodes that his father wasn’t good enough to be champion and he wasn’t either.
Cody went on to hit Rollins with a springboard Cutter out of nowhere to end the segment on WWE Raw.
Cody Rhodes will once again go head-to-head with “The Visionary” Seth Rollins in a highly anticipated rematch from WrestleMania at WrestleMania Backlash.
