Corey Graves and Wade Barrett are set to be the new voices of WWE SmackDown. Graves will take on the primary role of lead announcer, while Barrett will be delivering color commentary.
This change-up in the commentary team comes shortly after WWE’s decision to let go of Kevin Patrick, who had been a part of the SmackDown commentary trio alongside Michael Cole and Graves since the previous August.
Barrett’s collaboration with Cole isn’t new, as he has been working alongside him on Raw since August 2023. Before that, the duo was the commentary team for SmackDown starting in October 2022.
Additionally, on Monday’s WWE Raw, Pat McAfee made his entrance and joined Michael Cole at the commentary desk. Cole then announced that he and McAfee would be teaming up to provide commentary for Raw on a weekly basis going forward.
