In the main event of WWE SmackDown on Friday night, Roman Reigns challenged Sami Zayn to stand on his own two feet and defeat Kevin Owens.
Zayn fought admirably against his former best friend in the main event of SmackDown, however, it seems The Bloodline did not fully trust Zayn to get the job done and took matters into their hands.
After The Bloodline assaulted Owens, Zayn got the better of Owens for most of the match. Late into the match, Zayn landed a Tornado DDT that set him up for a match-ending Helluva Kick. Just as Zayn was lining up Owens to finish him, The Usos and Solo Sikoa attacked Owens drawing a disqualification.
After the match, The Usos laid out Owens on the announcers’ table and Sikoa jumped off the barricade with a big splash through the table. Zayn was visibly upset by their actions of The Bloodline, either for preventing Zayn from proving himself and defeating Owens on his own or perhaps for the attack on Owens.
