Damian Priest wants to be like Seth Rollins by becoming a workhorse champion

Damian Priest shocked the WWE Universe by cashing in his Money in the Bank contract on Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania XL, becoming the World Heavyweight Champion.

Inspired by the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, Priest expressed his desire to be a fighting champion, defending his title against anyone, anywhere. He aims to emulate Rollins, who held the title after defeating AJ Styles and successfully defended it against top competitors like Shinsuke Nakamura, Drew McIntyre, and Finn Bálor, before losing it to McIntyre at WrestleMania XL.

While speaking on the Rob Brown Show, Damian Priest said:

I want to be the type of champion that Seth Rollins was, a workhorse. I want to defend the title. I want to take on everyone and anyone at any point. When it comes to the roster, I want a piece of everybody.

Priest recently retained his title by defeating Jey Uso at WWE Backlash in France and has promised McIntyre a rematch once he’s cleared from his injury. WWE has yet to decide Priest’s next opponent, but it remains to be seen if he will defend his title at the upcoming King and Queen of the Ring PLE.
