Dana White speaks on the relationship with WWE at UFC 302

At the post-show press conference for UFC 302, UFC President Dana White discussed the collaboration with WWE under TKO Group Holdings. Despite the merger, White admitted that little has been done with WWE so far.

“It’s very separate. I haven’t worked with them at all. I do what I do, and they do what they do. They’re using some of the people from my team to help them in different areas, business-wise, but as far as putting on live events, I mean, WWE is very good at what they do. And we’re very good at what we do. And yeah, that’s about as far as it goes.”

TKO Group Holdings, formed in September 2023 through the merger of WWE and UFC, was part of a $9 billion acquisition of WWE by Endeavor, confirmed in April 2023. Endeavor previously acquired UFC in 2016 for $4 billion.

Recently, the live events teams of both companies merged, leading to some layoffs in WWE. WWE and UFC are also set to host back-to-back shows at the KFC Yum! Center Arena in Louisville, Kentucky, with WWE SmackDown on June 7 and a UFC event on June 8. WWE NXT Battleground will take place at the UFC Apex on June 9, marking the first WWE event at that venue.
