Smith and Austin Theory faced Odyssey Jones and Xyon Quinn in a dark match prior to Friday Night SmackDown.
Originally signed by WWE in 2006, Smith was released by WWE in 2011 and spent most of the last decade in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
