The announcement was made on this week’s Smackdown. The showdown between Edge and Sheamus will take place on Friday, August 18, as part of the SmackDown episode in Toronto, which is being highlighted as a tribute to Edge.
The upcoming match with Sheamus marks Edge’s return to the ring since his last appearance on July 7 during a SmackDown event at Madison Square Garden, where he faced off against Grayson Waller.
