The Scottish superstar then countered a powerbomb attempt, retaliating with a powerful powerbomb of his own, swiftly followed by a devastating Future Shock DDT. However, Gunther delivered his signature powerbomb, but it was not enough to keep the tenacious McIntyre down.

As the match reached its peak, McIntyre bombarded the intercontinental champion with a relentless flurry of chops and culminating in a colossal claymore kick that came dangerously close to securing him the victory. The sequence evoked a chorus of “this is awesome” chants from the crowd.

Seizing the opportunity, Gunther executed a top rope splash, followed by a relentless clothesline, and culminated with a devastating powerbomb that sealed the victory.
