In the main event of AEW Dynamite was the Casino Ladder Match. The winner of the match would get a future AEW World Title shot.
PAC, Andrade El Idolo. Jon Moxley, Lance Archer, Orange Cassidy, and Matt Hardy were announced for the Casino Ladder Match with an unknown joker involved in the match.
Pac and Cassidy started the match and were soon joined by El Idolo as the third competitor. Matt Hardy was the fourth man to enter the match and he went right after Cassidy with a Side Effect. Lance Archer made his entrance during the commercial break.
Moxley was up next and was soon followed by the “Joker”. The “Joker” was revealed to be Hangman Adam Page.
Towards the end of the match, Page was able to successfully nailed Pac with a Deadeye from atop a ladder through a table, took out Lance Archer with a Buckshot Lariat and stopped Jon Moxley from winning by punching him off the top of the ladder.
Page and Moxley fought on the top of the ladder but Page won was able to reach up and grab the oversized poker chip to claim the win and the future title shot.
