Jey Uso quits WWE on Smackdown

Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, and Paul Heyman were in the ring. Reigns asked Heyman about Jimmy’s whereabouts, and Heyman said that he had conversed with Jimmy earlier that day, noting a peculiar hint of bitterness in Jimmy’s demeanor. Just as the words hung in the air, Jimmy made his way to the ring, met by a “you sold out” chant from the Calgary audience.

Reigns told Jimmy he owes him one and to name his price. In response, Jimmy clarified that his actions at SummerSlam weren’t related to Roman and he doesn’t want anything in return.

Jey Uso then came to ring and confronted Jimmy up close, questioning why he took those actions at SummerSlam. In reply, Jimmy explained, “I did what I did because I love you. Not because of jealousy, but because I was afraid to lose you. You would have become the Tribal Chief and then what would happen to The Usos? You would inherit power like Roman Reigns. You would become an evil, manipulative a**hole like Roman Reigns.”

Jimmy then told Jey that he wouldn’t mind if Jey decided to kick him in the face. However, Jey turned away from Jimmy, and as a result, Jimmy exited the ring. Seizing the opportunity, Reigns interjected with laughter, remarking “I told you so.”

Suddenly, Jey delivered a superkick to Reigns, sparking a chaotic fight between them. In the midst of the scuffle, Jey gained the upper hand. Motioning to Jimmy, Jey extended his arms, seemingly inviting him, only to unexpectedly superkick Jimmy just before what appeared to be a reconciliatory hug. Jey then shouted at the camera that he was out of The Bloodline, out of SmackDown, and out of WWE.
