Jey Uso to Roman Reigns: “I Will Beat You Again” at SummerSlam

Jey Uso opened WWE SmackDown in the ring, but his time alone was short-lived as Roman Reigns intervened, accompanied by Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman, and made his way down to the ring.

Inside the squared circle, Jey Uso held Roman responsible for breaking the family and causing harm to Jimmy. In response, Roman countered by pointing out that when Jimmy suffered an injury, Jey used the opportunity to seek a title match, displaying a selfish attitude. Roman reminded Jey that he became the right-hand man three years ago because Jimmy was injured at that time. If circumstances were different, Jey might not have had the opportunity to stand by Roman’s side.

Nonetheless, Jey stood his ground, asserting that he remains the only one who has defeated Roman in the past. “It’s because I already beat you,” Uso said with a smile. “I pinned you. I’m the only one to do it. And at SummerSlam, I’m going to beat you again.”

At SummerSlam, Jey Uso will look to dethrone Roman Reigns in a Tribal Combat (No DQ) match. As Jey Uso explained on WWE SmackDown, “Anything goes.”
