Jey Uso is in search of a fresh catchphrase following the WWE encountering trademark issues related to the phrase, leading to the decision to disassociate it from Jey and cease the production of associated merchandise.
WWE already started actively removing the word “yeet” from its archives. This became clear when recent promotional materials and video segments blurred out the word on Jey’s shirt.
The trademark predicament stems from the independent wrestling circuit, where Kasey Huffman, an indie star, has held the professional wrestling trademark for “yeet” since 2021.
Jey Uso’s other moniker, “Main Event” will become his main presentation and merchandise phrase moving forward.
