John Cena is all set to make his appearance on the upcoming edition of SmackDown at the Giant Center located in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
In addition to SmackDown, WWE has also revealed that Cena will be taking part in a tag team match at the Superstar Spectacle in India. This special event is planned to be held on September 8th from the G.M.C. Balayogi Indoor Stadium in Gachibowli, Hyderabad.
Cena will team up with world heavyweight champion Seth Rollins and face off against the duo of Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci. This marks Cena’s first time stepping into the ring in India.
WWE took to social media to share the exciting news about the upcoming match, stating, “At WWE Superstar Spectacle in Hyderabad on September 8th, John Cena will join forces with World Heavyweight Champion Rollins to take on Imperium’s Kaiser and Vinci.”
Before the India event kicks off, WWE has a series of shows lined up, including the Payback premium live event. The show will take place during the Labor Day weekend on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and will feature Seth Rollins taking on Shinsuke Nakamura for the World Heavyweight Championship.
