John Laurinaitis Claims He Is A Victim in First Response to Allegations from Vince McMahon Lawsuit

John Laurinaitis Claims To Be A Victim In First Statement Since Vince McMahon Lawsuit Allegations

John Laurinaitis has been implicated in the significant lawsuit facing WWE and Vince McMahon, facing accusations of facilitating the sexual misconduct experienced by Janel Grant.

However, he presents an alternative narrative. Edward Brennan, the lawyer representing Laurinaitis conveyed to Vice News that his client too suffered as a victim in this distressing scenario. The core issue, as alleged, revolves around the dominance Vince McMahon exerted over them.

“Mr. Laurinaitis denies the allegations in the misguided complaint and will be vigorously defending these charges in Court, not the media. Like the Plaintiff, Mr. Laurinaitis is a victim in this case, not a predator. The truth will come out.”

“Count how many times in the complaint Vince [McMahon] exerts control over both of them.”

“The truth will come out,” Brennan added to the statement.

Janel Grant alleges in her claim that she suffered abuse and sexual exploitation by McMahon during his tenure as CEO. She says McMahon enticed her with career progression promises, only to allegedly exploit her and subject her to trafficking to other individuals within the organization.

The lawsuit contains a particularly alarming account of an alleged sexual assault involving Grant, Vince McMahon, and John Laurinaitis at WWE’s headquarters in 2021. According to the claim, the two men are accused of dragging Grant behind a locked door and forcibly restraining her. Despite her pleas for them to desist, it is alleged that one of the men told her, “No means yes.”
