Jushin Liger headed to the Owen Hart Cup Finals on AEW Collision

Jushin “Thunder” Liger, a Japanese wrestling icon and WWE Hall of Famer, has announced his plans to travel to Calgary, Canada this week to attend AEW Collision for the Owen Hart Cup Tournament finals.

Speaking on Twitter, Liger said: I am at Haneda Airport now. From now on, I will go to Calgary, Canada via San Francisco. I was invited as a guest at Owen Hart’s memorial tournament. I’m looking forward to Calgary after a long time.”

Liger received a personal invitation from AEW President Tony Khan during the AEW Double or Nothing press conference held in May.

Liger, whose real name is Keiichi Yamada, is a highly respected and legendary professional wrestler from Japan. Throughout his career, Liger won numerous championships and accolades, including the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship a record 11 times.
