In the run-up to the AEW Worlds End pay-per-view, Keith Lee took to social media to disclose his ongoing battle with an injury that has persisted for over a year. According to Lee, the injury was mostly under control, but it has gotten worse since ROH Final Battle. Despite these challenges, Lee is determined to proceed with his scheduled match against Swerve Strickland at Worlds End.
“Today… I keep it very real with you guys. I have been working through an injury since Arthur Ashe Stadium 2022. It has been mostly well taken care of. Things have been worse since Final Battle. I am trying to get through today for you guys, but I cannot promise anything,” Lee posted to his X (formerly Twitter) account.
Worlds End is taking place from the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York. The main card starts at 8 p.m. Eastern time.
