LA Knight had to be removed from Friday’s episode of SmackDown due to a positive Covid-19 test result.
Knight received the positive Covid-19 test result, and as a result, he had to leave the arena before the start of SmackDown. Knight was originally slated to participate in the main event contract signing between John Cena, Solo Sikoa, and Jimmy Uso for Fastlane, but those plans had to be scrapped due to the circumstances.
On SmackDown, the final segment was initially intended to showcase John Cena and AJ Styles signing the contract for their match against Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso at WWE Fastlane. However, the segment took a turn as Styles fell victim to an attack by Solo and Jimmy Uso, resulting in Styles being rushed into an ambulance following the assault.
