Lio Rush debuts at AEW Double or Nothing

The mystery participant at AEW Double or Nothing‘s Casino Battle Royale match turned out to be a former Cruiserweight Champion, Lio Rush.

When the Joker card was drawn, Lio Rush’s name appeared on the screen and he made his way to the ring and received “LIO” chants from the crowd.

Rush is a former NXT Cruiserweight Champion who was released by the WWE back in April 2020. Unfortunately, Rush’s time in the match was explosive but short as Matt Hardy and Private Party all teamed up to eliminate him.

The final 2 in the match were Christian Cage and Jungle Boy. Jungle Boy eliminated Christian Cage to become the number 1 contender.
