NXT Achieves #1 Ranking on Cable with 2024’s Largest 18-49 Audience

The June 18 episode of NXT achieved its highest 18-49 audience of the year, drawing 235,000 viewers in this demographic and averaging 724,000 viewers overall. The show ranked first on cable for Tuesday, according to Programming Insider and Wrestlenomics. This marked NXT’s largest 18-49 audience since November 7, 2023, with a 16% increase from the previous week. Overall viewership grew by 1% from the previous week’s 718,000 viewers.

The primary growth was among men aged 18-49, with a 28% increase to 235,000 viewers. Female viewers in the same age group decreased by 7% to 100,000.

The episode competed with Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals, which drew 4,150,000 viewers and a 1.13 rating on ABC. NXT featured a 25-man battle royal for a shot at the NXT Championship and included surprise entrants from TNA and WWE’s main roster, such as Joe Hendry, Frankie Kazarian, Angel Garza, Humberto Carrillo, Dragon Lee, and Apollo Crews.
