Otis finally snaps on Chad Gable on WWE RAW

During the June 17 episode of WWE RAW, the Alpha Academy’s internal conflicts came to a head. Otis, Maxxine Dupri, and Akira Tozawa, who had not followed Chad Gable in turning heel, addressed the escalating tensions within their group. Otis stood up for Tozawa against Gable’s aggression and responded to Gable’s mistreatment of Dupri, who was recovering from an injury. With strong support from the Corpus Christi crowd, Otis confronted Gable, pushing him across the ring.

Chad Gable’s heel turn began during his involvement in Sami Zayn’s training for WrestleMania XL. After failing to help Zayn defeat Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship, Gable grew increasingly bitter, criticizing his stablemates and setting his sights on the Intercontinental title for himself. The tensions peaked at Clash at the Castle: Scotland on June 15, where Gable’s title challenge faltered without support from Otis and Dupri, effectively ending their alliance.

Despite the turmoil, Gable chose to stay with WWE, signing a new multi-year deal. In an interview with The Gorilla Position, Gable credited Triple H for honoring his promises and significantly influencing his career direction.
