Report: Powerhouse Hobbs Sidelined Due to Injury

Former TNT Champion Powerhouse Hobbs may be sidelined for a considerable period following an injury. Hobbs sustained the injury during a recent AEW Dynamite episode and now faces surgery, according to Fightful Select. The exact nature of the injury hasn’t been disclosed, but it’s described as “significant.”

The injury occurred during a match against Jon Moxley in Jacksonville, Florida, where Hobbs was competing for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. The match, which lasted only 10 minutes, was abruptly ended when it became apparent to viewers that Hobbs was genuinely hurt.

The duration of Hobbs’ recovery remains uncertain. He has been actively participating in AEW, notably as a member of the Don Callis Family faction. Last month, he was involved in AEW’s tag team tournament, where he and his partner were eliminated in the first round by Orange Cassidy and Trent Beretta.
