Rey Fenix makes his return to the ring at AEW Collision

Rey Fenix, the high-flying luchador known for his gravity-defying maneuvers, is set to make his much-anticipated return to the ring on AEW Collision. This comes after a hiatus due to a severe hip and back injury sustained during a match against Jon Moxley in September 2023, where he won the AEW International Title. Since then, he’s been out of action, last wrestling on the October 10, 2023 episode of AEW Dynamite against Orange Cassidy.

Now medically cleared to compete, Fenix is scheduled to face The Beast Mortos (formerly known as Black Taurus) on the April 27, 2024 episode of AEW Collision. The Beast Mortos, having recently signed with AEW/ROH, debuted under this new alias at the ROH Supercard of Honor on April 5.

Tonight’s Collision will be broadcast on TNT right after the NBA playoff game between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat.
