After reaching the historic 1,000 days as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns received a new title on the June 2 episode of WWE SmackDown.
WWE executive Triple H highlighted the significance of Roman Reigns’ 1000 days as Universal Champion. Triple H then unveiled and presented to Reigns a brand new undisputed WWE universal championship. It appears that the new championship belt will replace the universal and WWE titles. Just as Reigns was about to speak, The Usos’ theme music hit.
Roman has held the title since August 30, 2020, when he defeated Bray Wyatt. Reigns unified the Universal and WWE Championships by defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38.
