Roman Reigns has tested positive for COVID-19 and won’t take part in his scheduled Universal Championship match against Brock Lesnar at the WWE Day 1 pay-per-view Saturday night.
Following the news about his positive COVID-19 test, Roman Reigns posted the following statement on Twitter:
“I yearn to perform tonight at #WWEDay1 to defend my Universal Championship. However, unfortunately, earlier today I tested positive for COVID-19. Due to the proper protocols I am unable to compete as originally scheduled. I look forward to returning to action as soon as possible.”

Due to Reigns out, Brock Lesnar will be added to the Fatal 4-Way WWE Championship match between Big E, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens and Bobby Lashley, making it a Fatal 5-Way.
