At the upcoming Royal Rumble, Roman Reigns will put his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on the line in a fatal four-way match against Randy Orton, LA Knight, and AJ Styles.
The match was set in motion by SmackDown’s general manager Nick Aldis following a chaotic turn of events during a recent episode of SmackDown. The episode was initially meant to feature a triple-threat match between Orton, Knight, and Styles to decide Reigns’ next opponent. However, the match was disrupted by Reigns and The Bloodline.
In response to this disruption, Nick Aldis confronted Paul Heyman and announced the creation of the fatal four-way match for the Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View event, scheduled for Saturday, January 27th.
Adding to the drama, a digital exclusive video circulated on social media after the show captured a frustrated Reigns demanding Heyman to “fix this” upon learning about the new match stipulation.
