Ronda Rousey will challenge Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown women’s championship at WrestleMania 38.

Having won this year’s women’s Royal Rumble match, Rousey had her pick of which women’s championship she would challenge for at April’s two-night WrestleMania 38.

The match was officially made on Friday Night SmackDown after Charlotte Flair and Sonya Deville where in the ring for the final segment. Deville informed the champion that Rousey had chosen Lynch for the WrestleMania match. Flair responded by stating she would choose to defend her title against Sasha Banks.

Rousey then entered the arena in Oklahoma City and proceeded to make the announcement that she would challenge Flair for the championship at WrestleMania. Flair responded by saying that her “baby” (the title) is prettier than her’s.

That infuriated Rousey but Sonya Deville stepped in as Flair left the ring. Rousey took Sonya down and applied what was referred to as “The Ronda Armbar” as the show ended.
