Sammy Guevara defeated Cody Rhodes to become the unified TNT Champion during AEW Dynamite in a ladder match that had both belts hanging over the ring.
The two utilized the ladders and as excepted, included some huge spots. There was a huge suplex off the giant ladder that was set up in the ring. Rhodes used the ladder to put Guevara in a figure four through a ladder. Guevara springboarded off the top of a ladder and hit a cutter on Rhodes off a second ladder and Rhodes later hit a Cross Rhodes off a ladder.
Towards the end of the match Sammy sets up Cody on a bridging ladder between the ring and the barricade and hits a senton on him. Sammy then climbed up the ladder with Cody following gingerly. They fight on the top before Sammy drops him for good and brings down the belts for the win.
