Stephanie McMahon has confirmed that the match between Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair for the Smackdown Women’s Title will be the main event for night one of WrestleMania 37.
Stephanie confirmed the news while speaking on The Bill Simmons podcast. It was also later announced on WWE’s social media accounts.
“Sasha and Bianca, who is newer, are going to be headlining night one of WrestleMania. That’s going to be special and spectacular. I can’t wait to see their match.”
Night 2 will be headlined by the Triple Threat Match for the Universal Championship featuring champion Roman Reigns defending against Daniel Bryan and Edge
Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair are two special athletes with huge personalities and there’s very little doubt that they’re going to deliver on the big stage.
WrestleMania will take place Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, and stream live exclusively on Peacock in the United States and on WWE Network everywhere else.
