With Extreme Rules less than a week away, get acquainted with the Fight Pit prior to to Matt Riddle taking on Seth Rollins.

Seth Rollins claimed he was done with Matt Riddle and was instead ready to pursue the United States Title. During a Title Match against Bobby Lashley on Raw, however, Riddle distracted Rollins, ensuring Lashley retained and making it clear that Rollins and Riddle were not done with each.

Considering their volatile history, it was determined that the two will now clash inside the Fight Pit. With the unique stipulation in place, it seemed only fitting to have MMA legend Daniel Cormier step in as the special guest referee.

WWE Extreme Rules takes place on Saturday, Oct. 8, at 8 ET/5 PT, streaming live on Peacock and the WWE Network.
