Swerve Strickland defeats Christian Cage at AEW Double or Nothing

The AEW World Heavyweight Championship match between Swerve Strickland and Christian Cage took place at the AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view event, held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Christian Cage’s ruthless tactics couldn’t match Swerve Strickland’s relentless aggression. Cage dominated much of the match using underhanded strategies and his experience. His family’s involvement was crucial, especially when Nick Wayne tricked the referee into ejecting Prince Nana by handing him the AEW world title.

With Strickland vulnerable, Cage distracted the referee, allowing his associates to attack the champion. However, their interference became sloppy, leading to the referee ejecting Wayne, Killswitch, and Mama Wayne. The match concluded spectacularly as Strickland countered Cage’s spear midair with a House Call, thrilling the crowd. A Swerve Stomp followed by a second House Call secured Strickland’s victory.
