All Elite Wrestling World Tag Team champions, The Acclaimed, headlined AEW Dynamite when they defended against Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro-Wrestling titleholders FTR in a much-anticipated showdown.
Late, near-falls ensued, and drama was at its height when Bowens just narrowly broke up the pin after a Big Rig from FTR. The Acclaimed would end up winning the match with a rollup from Max Caster.
After this match, The Gunn Club challenged FTR to a double dog collar match at ROH Final Battle.
