The Rock Says audience’s response to his theme music playing Was ‘Undeniable’

The Rock Says The Crowd's Reaction To His Music Hitting On SmackDown Was 'Undeniable'

WWE’s Royal Rumble set the stage for Cody Rhodes to face Roman Reigns again after securing back-to-back Rumble victories, leading many to anticipate that this episode of SmackDown would mark the start of their next saga.

However, WWE took an unexpected turn during the February 2nd episode of Friday Night SmackDown, when Cody Rhodes brought out a familiar face to Roman Reigns: The Rock.

The appearance of The Rock elicited a thunderous applause from the Birmingham, Alabama crowd, culminating in an intense face-off between him and Roman Reigns after Cody Rhodes exited the ring.

Certainly, there’s a buzz about The Rock finally stepping into the ring against Reigns, particularly at WrestleMania. However, there’s a faction of the audience who are less than thrilled to see The Rock take Cody’s spot.

The discontent among fans isn’t so much about The Rock challenging Roman Reigns; it’s more about The Rock taking the spot many felt was destined for Rhodes, especially given Rhodes’ consecutive victories and the momentum he’s built over this past year in their storyline to finish his story.

Last night, The Rock then shared his thoughts on social media about the audience’s undeniable response when his theme music played.

The Rock and Roman Reigns are set to confront each other again on Thursday during a special event aimed at promoting WrestleMania 40.
