In the main event of this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE Champion Big E and Bobby Lashley went to battle in a steel cage match.
In a thrilling match, Big E was able to retain his title after hitting the Big Ending on Lashley off the second rope. Although, his post-match celebration was short-lived, as Drew McIntyre’s music hit and “The Scottish Warrior” came out and pointed his sword at E to close out the show.
Drew McIntyre has been unable to challenge for the title ever since he lost to Lashley inside Hell in a Cell earlier this summer. Now that E is champion that rule is no longer in effect.
