Cody Rhodes returned to the WWE at WrestleMania 38 as the opponent of Vince McMahon’s choosing against Seth Rollins.
The former AEW executive vice president and a founding member of that company received a raucous ovation from those in attendance at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Saturday.
Cody kicked off tonight’s WWE Raw after WrestleMania show. He went on to give an emotional speech about his father and talked about “nonsense” theories about his decision to return to WWE.
Cody added that he is finally ready to go after and win the WWE Championship for himself, his family and for The American Dream Dusty Rhodes.
